(g)nathos Testimonials
What people are saying...
Bob Isaacson, DDS, MSD, Ph.D
Orthodontist, Author, Researcher, Educator
“The (g)nathos program is a very special presentation. The most unique quality of this program is the members who attend because of their avid interest. I spoke to two of these groups and I can honestly say that I have never had a more enthusiastic audience. Certainly, it is only fair to say that this program is built on quality and Gerry Samson deserves accolades for his efforts with this fine organization."

“The (g)nathos courses provided by Gerry Samson are absolutely the best C.E. alternative for practitioners seeking quality evidenced-based information and in-depth knowledge on orthodontic diagnostic and treatment procedures in growing patients.
Dr. Samson’s attention and emphasis toward the details of the diagnostic process establishes a baseline for success in orthodontic management of patients. From that foundation, his disciplined and common-sense approach to biomechanics and appliance choices guides the course participant even further along the road
to practice success."

“Thanks to our colleagues in bone biology and prosthodontics, implants are a reality. Decades of research provide a convincing biological rationale for an application to clinical orthodontics. In other words, given a desire to preserve anchorage, there is good reason to believe that TADs ought to work. In the end, I predict that their use will let us move teeth where we want and, in so doing, demand that we return to an era of individualized ‘diagnosis’ and treatment planning. In practical terms, their use may well prove to be the foundation of evidence-based, 21st Century orthodontics."

“Going to the CMDD Orthodontic Course is one of the singular best things I have done for my professional career. The course provided the dedicated time to solidify my training in growth and development, biomechanics as well as orthodontic techniques with an outstanding and gifted teacher. Dr. Samson’s course is truly evidence-based, constantly being updated and technically enhanced. He has a special gift to teach while being incredibly entertaining. The course is more than learning growth and development and biomechanics; it provides the unique opportunity to interact with other (g)nathos participants, who are incredibly bright and talented colleagues from all over the world. Dr. Samson has created a network of colleagues, who will go the extra mile to help each other to provide excellent dental care for pediatric patients as well as taking care of our own health and families. CMDD is truly something special."

“Fantastic job Gerry - this should have been done a long time ago. Using your example, I’ve heard other ‘gurus‘ say that the the flipped bracket should be repositioned (flipped again)once it has achieved its new position (after 12 weeks) in order to not give the tooth too much facial root torque. I have always left my brackets without “re-flipping" again and havent noticed any excessive torquing issues. Cheers!"

“During my 20 year involvement with (g)nathos I’ve learned to believe in and enjoy the pursuit of excellence.
These multi-faceted goals are not limited to pediatric growth, development, diagnosis and treatment planning. In addition to treatment excellence, (g)nathos meetings include the refinement of communication skills along with practice management and personal growth. These attributes are shared among instructors
and participants.
Reflected knowledge and experience between (g)nathos members helps all of us achieve our goals of excellence and compassion for our patients."

“For more than 15 years it has been my pleasure to associate with the (g)nathos oranization and Dr. Gerry Samson. Originally, I completed the CMDD course. Since that time I’ve regularly attending the advanced continuing education courses with Gerry every year. My association with (g)nathos has been both progressive and enlightening. This experience has improved my ability to practice evidence based pediartic dentistry, the orthodontic services that I choose to provide and my communication with orthodontic specialists."

About Loco Motion 1:
“It would be very frustrating and time consuming to try to learn these concepts by a textbook only. The hands on exercises and the Big Tooth make these concepts much easier to understand."
About Loco Motion 2:
“Even though I had seen this topic ’live’ the online CE was a great review because I could pause the video and take notes without missing anything. it is an ideal supplement to the live experience!"

“I have been involved with the CMDD program and Gerry for thirteen years(CMDD Course -1994). It remains the best CE decision I’ve ever made. His organization, preparation, and delivery are far better than any you’ll expect or encounter at any level. He gives 150% every time. His enthusiasm is contagious and his desire to have you learn is palpable. Do this now!!!"

“The 20 min video on torque was VERY good. During our busy lives it’s difficult to find an extra hour or so during the day making the 20 minute format idal. I had 2 patients the next day that I had been playing with the torque on the laterals for a couple of months. Now I can get them finished. Thanks."
